Ian is a seasoned pharmaceutical development leader with over 30 years of global experience spanning clinical trials, program and portfolio management, and strategic partnerships. With a career anchored at Eli Lilly and Company, Ian has successfully led cross-functional teams across North America, Europe, and Asia, delivering multiple programs from development through commercialization.

Having lived and worked in the United Kingdom, Belgium, Singapore, and the United States, Ian brings a deep understanding of regional development needs and a high level of cultural awareness to every engagement. His ability to lead and inspire diverse, cross-functional teams has made him a trusted partner in navigating complex international development challenges. Most recently Ian served as Oncology development COO in Lilly's International Division, overseeing team plans, governance, cross-border collaboration, and mentoring global talent. His strategic insight and people-first leadership have consistently aligned clinical objectives with business outcomes.

A certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Ian also brings strong credentials in process improvement and operational excellence, having led initiatives that generated significant efficiencies in global business operations. From early-phase trials in Europe to portfolio integration projects in Asia, Ian is known for his ability to connect people, streamline processes, and deliver measurable results.

Ian holds a BSc. Honors in Biological Science from the University of Portsmouth in the UK. Now based in Carmel, Indiana, Ian is committed to using his skills and knowledge to support others in global health through culturally attuned, collaborative drug development solutions.
